Join Liverpool Cathedral, the Diocese of Liverpool and the Mothers’ Union to support the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence campaign.

After a light lunch hear speakers Rev Bonnie Evans-Hills and Canon Rod Garner talk about encouraging vigilance around and recognising the signs of gender-based violence.

Before the event, everyone is invited to join the Eucharist service in the Lady Chapel of the Cathedral at 12:05 pm.

The 16 Days of activism is an extension of day-to-day grassroots work of Mothers’ Union which works alongside communities to help end gender –based violence and to support those affected by it every day of the year.

We are the Church of England in Liverpool and surrounding region. Our diocese stretches from Wigan, Ormskirk and Southport through St Helens to Warrington and Widnes.

For many years we have been working to achieve growth in our diocese. We have used different ways to express this but the aim and direction of travel has remained the same – consistent with the whole of the Church of England.
